F-T/R
I did not see any scores, but from what I heard.
Bryan Schneider 598 - ?X
Johnny Ingram 596 +- ?X => Johnny Ingram shot a 200-15X on his last string!

I doubt you will see aggregate scores for day one as no one stayed around after we came back for the pits. It was 6 PM when we left the range.
With 102 shooters, 5 relays, and rain delays, it made for a long day.

I see Ben Steinsholt (Shoot Dots) is in the hunt! Go get em Mr Dots !! That blue dollar is in Jim Fowlers pocket if your looking for it. Lol This match looks like it is going to be tight at the top.

Fowler decided to go home after day one, so we won't be seeing that blue dollar anytime soon.

Relay one is done, looks like all of us in the hunt shot clean so nothing has changed. Ken Dickerman is on relay 2, so he is up. We'll see how he does.

My buddy thats over there sent me the scores (FTR) from day one.

Bryan Schneider 598 31X
Johnny Ingram 593 33X
Ray Weaver 592 28X
Peter Johns 592 24X
Donald Diffey 591 26X

Those were the top 5 yesterday with several guys just below that, great shooting going on there.

F-Open Aggregate:

Top 5
Freddy Haltom 1198.77 (with a 600.35 today - smokin!)
Ken Dickerman 1196.81 (including the 200.19 NR - wow - and look at that X count!)
Erik Cortina 1194.51
Ben Steinsholt 1193.63
Richard Goody 1189.61

Well done, Gentlemen!

Ken Dickerman is such a gracious gentleman, a real pleasure to shoot with.. We had a GREAT time and look at Freddy! We had some REALLY bad wind conditions from time to time and he only dropped 2 points out of a possible 1200! Extremely good shooting!!

Great shooting guys. Congrats to Freddie and Ken both..well deserved win and National record! Freddie just doesn't give anything up, and Ken was pusing him. Erik and Ben was hot on their heels!

Thanks Erik...it happens to us all..it was just my lucky day I guess ;D

For the record, I'll be delivering the blue dollar to Freddie out in Avery. It's well deserved. I had planned on bringing it, but forgot to pack it.

Thank You Jim... I BLEW it on match 2 today.. My "wind reading" acumen lacks considerably when my "little" 6mm bullets have to fly thru switching conditions. I dropped ALL but 1 point with my Dasher... My .284 Shehane slices thru those conditions with aplomb! It makes up for my lack of precision in the wind! I learned 2 valuable lessons betwixt last weekend (Palo Alto La. State Championship) and this weekend! 1.) the weatherman's forecasts are less than stellar and 2.) I will bring my Shehane to ALL major competitions that are 600 yards and beyond.. I L-O-V-E both my Dashers, however, when the winds blow, they need to stay home!! I look forward to seeing you next time around.. Don't be so long between visits!
