Yup that’s exactly what I have and trying to do but woth not as a nice rest as your ransom rest at about 16 ft . Im new to bullseye competition shooting .I believe the OP is shooting a Ruger MKIV pistol.
When I shot bullseye I tested my Ruger MK 22/45 and Marvel topped 1911s in a ransom rest. Just about every Standard Velocity ammo held ten ring at 50 yards for 10 shots. In bullseye, I found reliability was most important so as not to have to shoot alibis in timed and rapid fire.
CCI SV was the cleanest and most lots, not all, we’re reliable.
Eley Target also plenty accurate and reliable but not as clean burning as CCI.
Aguila while cheap was neither clean or reliable.
Remington SV ammo was crap and don’t ever shoot Thunderbolts……..
Higher end ammo from Eley or Lapua was not needed.
