Teslong Borescope Light Question

I thought I read a post here how to turn the light down on the Teslong borescope. The turn wheel won't dim enough. Post was talking about going into the menu on my device. I am using a Samsung s7.
Thanks Bill

Bill, I just received my bore scope today. I downloaded the program but can't get a picture on the screen on my Android. It says my device supports the unit but picture is black. It says it's connected. I have a Moto Z3. Maybe someone will jump in and help on both counts. John.

Go to the Play Store and look for an app called USB Camera (orange/brown icon with the USB symbol in black.)

The supplied app didn't work on my S6 Edge+, but the USB Camera app does. A buddy of mine had the same problem.

My Teslong is still a bit too bright with the wheel adjusted down as low as it will go before going dark, but that's life.

Try adjusting the brightness of the tablet screen, that may do it for you.

It's the bright glow reflecting off of barrel that makes it difficult to see the bore.

I have the wifi version for iPhone and Apple. The light adjustment works pretty good on it

I'm considering using a sharpie to black out several of the LED lights. Too much glare even with the lights turned down as far as they'll go. I wish they had a detachable shade or filter.

Not so sure you couldn't find a different mirror head that may offer what you want. I searched and found alot of universal adapter heads for the threaded end
