Teslong Borescope Info

I Love my Teslong bore scope. Works great fantastic tool but… the 22 cal mirrors are weak and fail easily. I had been buying another set of mirrors each time another 22 failed. They are very thin so finally I called Teslong. They were more than happy to send new ones at no charge so….if you have had the same issues just call they were very easy to deal with and within minutes I got a shipping notice

For a review I’m not a fan of the flex and fold one at the moment. Where the two parts of the rod screw together it seems like it wants to unscrew there when you’re turning the focus part of the rod. The monitor is fabulous.

I have the flex also. The rifling twist is the obvious culprit. Yes, the 22 is very fragile.
The design criteria is really a rob Peter to pay Paul situation.
Another ten thou could really help on rigidity.

I bought the long fixed rod model with its own display monitor. I was up-n-running, quick-n-easy! It works great! My only minor complaint is how to store the thing. The box it came in is flimsy & it's hard to get all the pieces back in place to put it away.

I wonder if something like one of those MTM cleaning rod cases would hold it?

I use the red mirror on both my 22 and 243 caliber rifles. I bought the set of mirrors for each caliber, and installed the 243 mirror. It is larger, the view is a little better, but it glares a lot from the light, and it is tight in the bore. I am going to go back to the red mirror

While I haven't had any issues of mirrors being fragile with my rigid Teslong borescope, I did have an issue of being able to control the brightness when I first got it. I couldn't get it to dim and hold at a level that didn't 'glare out' what I was trying to look at. I ended up with another cord and don't remember if I paid or if Teslong hooked me up but it works as it should. Aside form that I lost the small diameter mirror and ordered the whole mirror kit and have been GTG ever since.
