Teslong Android Apps

Hi folks, question, what app, or apps are you using for the Teslong bore scope on an android application. I just got the scope and a Samsung tablet, but am not sure which app to use, or which is best. Teslong told me that Smart Endoscope is a good one, but I thought I would check with people already using them before I download anything.

Thanks

Scott W.

I use the app called "Endoscope Camera". Works great, but I'm sure there are others that work well too.

I tried it but I get a black screen on the tablet. Still fooling with them.

I use "MScopes" on my Android device. They upgraded it lately and I no longer get the frozen screen. I like it just fine and it's free.

I use one with a cheap samsung chrome book and all I have to do is plug it in and go to camera and tell it to use external camera no app needed....

Exactly right. The sequence is important. Plug the Teslong in, open the camera app for the camera that is built in to the laptop or tablet and choose the Teslong. It won't display the choices unless the Teslong is plugged in to the unit. How it is labeled in the app depends on the make of the tablet/laptop. Some might say 'external camera' or something else.

I am having the same black screen issue using a Teslong and newer Samsung tablet.
The app connects to the camera and the endoscope lights up.
Scott, did you get yours working?

My pc said open the regular camera .. There it was ...
My phone has otg working on it now.

Verify it is not an Android app "permissions" issue. Apps need permission to use cameras, microphones, etc. These permission could be blocking access.

Sorry, just saw this. I did get it to work with a generic camera app. However, I decided to return the new Samsung tablet. I put an older desktop computer back into service that has Windows 10 in it. Just plug it in and it works. Not as space efficient or portable, but it didn’t cost me anything and it is way simpler.

I will give it a try. I've seen a flash of image then the screen goes black.
