Teslong advice...yeah again

Have been reading through previous posts but haven't found what l think l need.
Looking at the broke back model and accompanying 5" screen. But a shooting bud has the long flexibility cable. It would seem they have the "don't roll it up too tight" problem solved. That still is a major question for me as the 2pc shaft seems to put in a very tight bend. I will be doing 20cal through 308 so like the multiple heads included.
Any ideas, suggestions of flex vs rigid?
Screen...why? My tech savvy is MIA. Would be using an S23+ droid.

I ordered/rec'd the all metal wand version with the 5" screen as the ad stated it would fit 20 cal bores. Nope. I just took the flexible shaft off the dead 4" monitor (battery died) and plugged it into the new 5" monitor and went on about my way. I've used the flexible wand version for several years, even have an all metal shaft still in the OEM tube (won it).

You will probably need to file down the mirror housing with a emory board to get the mirror housing into a 20 cal bore..

I just bought the "kit" with the monitor included as I found the apps needed for iphone/android/PC are somewhat unstable (JMO), and with the 5" inch monitor, I just put my reading glasses on and look at the screen.

I don't roll my flex shaft up, the spare one I have is rolled up but not as tightly as the way it comes from the factory.

I bought, what I think you refer to as the broke back Teslong with the monitor. I also have a couple of the earlier Teslons with the WiFi for the apple phone. What I like about the folding Teslonf is that the focusing is done while actually viewing the screen. The monitor has a great picture, by the way. I always had trouble adjust the viewing for sharp focus using the adjustable mirror end piece. It works, just not as easy.

There's a trick to adjusting the mirror end piece. I struggled until I started focusing >outside< the bore. Just lay the end of the borescope on a sharply printed item. I use a book with fine print. Then focus the end piece and lock it down. Sure beats the trial and error method of doing it with the bore image.

Another finding: I used the flexible Teslong for a while. I prefer the usability of the rigid one, but the lighting sucks. You see reflections from each of the little LEDs. The flexible one had more diffused lighting which made for better images. But, the flexible one was annoying to use in my experience.

I have the one that bends 90° and it works great, had it for over a year now. Has multiple mirrors so would probably fit your 20 cal

Another trick after focusing (great advice Krogen) is to use o rings on the tube to keep it centered all the way down the bore. Harbor Freight has kits with multiple sizes for cheap.

I don't roll it up either. I store in in a piece of 3/4" or 1" PVC pipe
