If you haven't checked out our latest Gun of the Week story, here it is: http://www.6mmbr.com/gunweek069.html

Forum member Terje, from Norway) delivered some great images and videos, along with a very interesting story about seal hunting along the Norwegian coast.

Jim de Kort added a nice tech section about the TRG series and using the TRG-22 for F-class.

Not long ago I had the opportunity to observe a TRG-22,.308) in action at a sniper school. It was a superb tactical rifle. Extremely accurate, rugged and reliable. Similar in many ways to the British made Accuracy International.

The bipod is unique. Quite different from the usual Harris bipod, but very good. The rifle seems to actually be hanging from the bipod, instead of resting on it.

I'm impressed with how well the TRG functions in the field as both a tactical weapon, and as a hunting rifle. That seal-shooting stuff has got to be a blast! Like shooting big, really big, varmints!

Regards, Guy

I believe I saw some photos a while back of his Lab retrieving the seals from the water.... That was just as awesome as his two TRG's!

He also hunts Graylag, goose) with his SAKO 6BR.

That`s my brother to the left and one of my hunting friends to the right.
I`m the skipper, and also the photographer on that picture.:D

I didn't know how smooth and accurate a factory rifle could be unitl I bought my TRG-42. It is slick, fast, great trigger. I don't have as much experience as most here I'm sure. But to me the TRG is perfection.

I haven't gotten around to loading anything other than Sierra 250's yet. Have thought about going heavier but have heard about some stability issues. Still if the target is inside 1000 yds I'll hit it.

Now to save up money for a TRG-22.
