Temporary single shot loading sled installation?

I am waiting on magazine and mag spring parts for a Remington 700 clone chambered in .221 Fireball. I would like to shoot it in the meantime and have a single shot sled that fits. What would the hive suggest I use to temporarily install the sled, knowing it will be removed in a month or two? I thought about using a small amount of silicone.

A couple small spots of epoxy would work fine. Like 1/8" round dabs in 2-3 places. Strong enough to hold, but easy enough to pop off when done.

I put a piece of foam under the follower. If it's BDL style bottom metal, slip the spring and factory follower out of the floor plate.
