TempLac

I bought a BenchSource annealer this winter. I got the TempLac ( 350 & & 750) from BROWNELL'S. The 750 degree had seperated into solids and liquid. I stirred it. It was still kind of gritty. Then this afternoon when I was going to do some different cases, the 750 had lost most all of the liquid portion. Do I just order some thinner and remix it? Or should I just get a new bottle? What consistency should it be?

Thanks for any information.

They make a thinner that people buy with the TempLac, just for that reason.
I don't know if plain old lacquer thinner will work or not. I bought theirs.

As fast as this stuff dries, I don't think you can use any thinner except the Templac thinner. It is very liquid when thinned properly, a little thicker than water but not much. It will easily run when not applied sparingly. Hope this helps.
