Tell me about your PMA O press

Hello, I have been in the market looking for a small accurate press to do a little bit of kitchen countertop reloading (I can do that because I’m a bachelor lol)

I just came across this press and I’m quite intrigued with it, I was wondering if anybody here that owns one could give me some opinions on the press

I know a lot of guys here seem to like the Harrells press and I also looked at one of the hood style presses but this PMA may be a little bit more ergonomic to use,

I love mine! I really like the floating die feature which works in conjunction with their die adjusters.

I forgot if I had the Lenzi or the Pma. A solid press for sure. All pma products are great. But I have to say, the Ackco Machine hood press case to case is the most accurate press I have ever owned.

This is the press that I was originally going to get until I saw the PMA press

That floating die feature, does it come with the press or is it something extra you have to purchase?
It’s included. There are two tapped holes on the top of the press, for threaded posts (included) to be installed if you choose to allow die to “float”. With the use of a PMA die adjuster (original design not the pro model), you position the MDA so that the part with the adjustment thumb screw sits between those two posts and prevents the die from loosening as you’re sizing cases. It allows the die to self align. If you don’t like that, you can simply lock the die down like you would with any other press.
