TC Contender help

I want to thank all who have commented to try and help me out here. Keep 'em coming as I always try and learn something useful. I need to get rid of some "useless" info so this could help/ LOL

The topic of discussing Thompson Contenders and Encores is timeless
Everyday new shooters are being brought to the platform even if S&W can't get it together

Looks like a pretty fine piece. An earlier model had a slot in the hammer spur that was sometimes crushed/broken by heavy-handed operators installing a hammer extension. Could not be replaced.
I would check to be sure the standing breech has not been damaged by dry firing when the fp selector was in the center position. Other than that, you have on your hands, the makings of a lot of good times.

Well, we all want to retire at some point, but if Bullberry closes shop, it will be one great loss of a fine company, that has served many for a good number of years. I wish Fred a well earned retirement.
I have a Contender in 6.5 Bullberry, and it is a WONDERFULLY shooting pistol. Easy to find a good load and accurate as all get out. Bullberry was a fine company.

I love Bullberry designs. Love to see it!
My closest would be the 6.5 Grendel
The barrel was done by Coyotes Guns and Accessories
