Taxes Due in Ten Days -- Where to Get Tax Software

Hate to be the bearer of bad news guys, but Federal and (most) State Tax returns are due in ten days on April 15, 2013.

If you are doing your own returns, you can benefit from using Turbo-Tax. A version with Federal and State tax returns is available through Amazon.com. This offers E-Filing capability which can ensure quicker delivery of your refund.

Don't wait 'til the last minute. When I first posted a link to this software package, it was $39.20. The price just jumped to $44.00 and it may go up again as we approach the deadline.

My software is called a CPA. Mine are done and gone. I did nothing but drop off a bunch of paperwork and then signed them when done. I like that. I think Office Depot calls it the "Easy Button".


But yeah, the 15th is upon us, yall better get to work!!

Mudcat, I agree. I would not consider trying to save a dollar doing it myself. I have a very trustworthy CPA that does all of my work. My sister has owned an accounting practice for 30years and she thinks my CPA is tops. I feel my time is better spent doing what I know and let the experts do their thing.
