Saw a scope at the gun show today marked "Tasco Custom Shop." The scope went from 15x? - 60x which seemed too high for practical use. The guy that had it was telling me that it was a high end competition scope that "could see a flea at 500 yds!"
Now everything I've ever heard about Tasco is that the are the very low-end of the optics world. Having one sent to a "custom shop" seems ridiculous but I've been wrong before.
Big problem is that it's on a rifle I wouldn't mind buying but the guy won't come down enough, if I let him keep the scope. So the scope is pretty much a deal make or breaker.
Anyone know about these? Any idea of what one is worth?
