I purchased a new pair of Tasco 10x binoculars with fixed focus. The advertisement said that there was no need to adjust the focus, as the binoculars were always in focus. I found out differently. They were out-of-focus at all distances. I tried both with my glasses and without. Still out-of-focus.
When I attempted to contact Tasco about the problem, I was put on hold. I waited for a while, then hung up to try again later. When I called back, I was told that there was a problem with their telephone system, and I should try again later.
The binoculars were not really expensive, but I thought that they would be serviceable for my needs. I learned that you get what you pay for. The binoculars are in the trash. Buyer beware.
