Targets for 100 and 200y Rimfire F class

I've been asked which targets are usually used for 100y and 200y rimfire F class.
Does anyone have any links to targets I can download to use a club shoots?
I saw copies of F class rimfire targets a while back with 5, 10 or 12 targets on each pages, are these what are usually used?

I have no idea what's actually sanctioned in Aus. You should probably try to find out.

In the usa the 100 yard target is the a33 nra/'metric' version as mentioned.
The 50 yard target is the nra a51. There is a 50 meter version also. There may be other international names for these.
There is no sanctioned target for 200 f-sbr. There is a 200m international target that is equivalent to the a33 in the books, c2 or c200 or something like that but I've never seen one in person. There is an NRA target for 200 yard smallbore, the A21 but it is a very old spec conventional target that is pretty easy for sling and very easy for f-class.

Our club uses the mr52 200yard highpower sling target because we have them and it works pretty well for rimfire f-class. It is on the challenging side. Good for good shooters with good guns, a bit rough for newbs.

The other option for 100 is mini-palma targets. There is officially an f-class version but I've never seen them available to buy. The normal version is tough for sling, a bit easy for f-class. After 4 years, we just had our first occurrence of 2 cleans and the winner being decided by x's.

A33s usually come 1 sighter and 2 records bulls vertically on a large sheet.
Anything with more bulls than that is likely to be a 50 yard target.

Self printing 100 and 200 yard targets is problematical because they don't fit on 8.5 by 11 paper. You need to have a large format printer or print 'centers'. Also if you print them as 'blacks' they eat toner very fast. When you decide exactly which way you're going I can probably help you out with some computer files to print.

I get mine from Pistoleer.com
A51 is 50 yard target - $6.81 for 12
A33 is the 100 yard target - $11.85 for 12
LRS is the Palma target - $12.44 for 12
The Palma has three sighting bulls and 3 scoring bulls all on same target.
At our range we could not see bullet holes at 100 yards. Under a cover with black dirt as a backstop. So we used 3" Shoot-N-C. Same size scoring rings as A33. We put a Shoot-N-C on a 8-1/2x11 sheet of paper to get rough zero then went to main LRS targets with Shoot-N-C centers.

yeah.. at the place i linked.. it would cost you only 4.56 for those same 12 (A33) targets
2.88 for 12 of the A51's.. just a thought ya know

Here's the A33 rings out to 6 on 8.5 x 11 with white background.

Great option for an unsanctioned match if everybody is a decent shooter with a scope. Easier to spot hits on the white.

btw - The A33 has no x ring.
Xs are anything entirely within the 10.

I only saw 250 quantity listed.
We only needed a few to try out the match.
Matches did not take off. We have scratched the idea.

Rod, Canberra Rifle club are shooting 100 and 200 metre Rimfire F Class each month on a Satuday morning. They are using paper targets. Contact them. Cheers Rob

Yes, it would be best if we all drift towards using the same targets so if they have it up and running well, we may as well go with theirs for pulled targets.
I am wondering though about the ranges which dont have target pits, such as the numerous 100-200yd BR ranges. Do they use a bank of multiple bullseye targets with one shot on each?

Standard Smallbore(f or sling) is 10 shots per a33 bull. 5 shots on the 50 yard/meter bulls.

This can definitely create situations where score and/or x-count are little more than a guess based on two or three ragged holes.

The use of clear overlays have allowed accurate scoring of smallbore targets for decades and have very accurate results. The backers also allow further confirmation on the location of each shot fired, even when a group of 3 or more shots is present.

I've shot with backers but they were used by the official scorers if at all. I was happy to have the volunteer scorers and just take their word for my score. :) I thought the backers were only clearly useful for external cross fires.

You mean the plastic scoring overlays? I can't see that they do much good determining exactly how many shots went through each multi-shot hole.

In practice with a scope I solve the problem like this

Not sure how they would score for F class with these targets though. Would the scorer be able to accurately score each shot on the score card?

Not like centerfire pulled, shot by shot, of course not.
Just score and xs for each 10 shot bull. And that can be tough enough.

We use scorecards from centerfire with blanks for each shot.
I'm constantly telling people they don't need to fake in the shot scores; just put down the bull score.

Yes, something like this would be good for non pulled targets where one shot goes on each small bulls eye at 100yd.
Problem is that if there is anybody in the match that will be shooting worse than close 8s or anybody using irons you can't use that. If you had 1000 yard size backers you might be able to put up a lot of full-size or close to it bulls.
