I'm in the process of picking components for a build and am looking for some stock advice. My rifle will be a single shot 260 with a 28-30in barrel.I mostly shoot around 700yrds but have ranges out to a mile. I have been looking at the McMillan prone but am not sure as I've never seen one in person. I'm looking for something that will give me the option to shoot off a caldwell rock or a bipod. Is this a good option or should I look at something else.

I've got my 260AI single shot set up in a McM A5. The generic Savage PTA inlet was done at the factory. It works well with my Hart front rest or a bipod.
Can't offer an opinion on the prone but I'm happy with what I've got. It works.
