Target Scopes: Redfield 6400 or Weaver T-20?

Anyone familiar with either or both?

Wondering which has better glass, more repeatable adjustments, holds zero better, etc.

Ill be using it (them?) on my Winchester 52's and Remington 40X

Thanks

Have owned multiples of each power of the old steel tubed Weavers except for the T30 and a number of the Redfields in several powers All the Weavers had positive true 1/4 min. adjustments throughout their range and held zero without fail. The Redfield 6400 has a little better glass, but I think that's the only advantage; clicks are a little mushy. Another thing I liked about the Weaver T series is that out of the total elevation travel, only 1/3 of it is down and 2/3 is up (from optical center). On many other scopes, it's half and half and you never need more down adjustment unless using downward tapering bases such as 20 MOA. T-6, -10 and -16 have enough adjustment to allow most rifles to go from 100 to 1000 yds. without a tapered base or shims. From T20 on up, they have only 2/3 the total travel of the lower powers. I also like the easy rezeroing of the turret dials on the T series compared to the 6400 and the obj. lens adjustment is easier on the Weaver.
