i'm not an expert... but i'll tell you my story, plain an simple, if you want more power to see holes buy a scope with more power, i have 3 36X weavers an thought the davis 3x booster would add the extra i wanted, all it did was lesson the light an make it fuzzy for me an my eyes... sold it last yr, now thinking 45Xleupold to better what i'm looking for..
