Target Master trickler

Allen was indeed easy to deal with via e-mail when I recently purchased a Target Master Trickler. Didn't seem much different than ordering from U.S. businesses.

Trickler itself is well designed and made; works well and is definitely worth the price of admission.

I forget how many years I've used Allen's TargetMaster for - it's a long time, anyway. Even though I now mostly use an RCBS ChargeMaster coupled with lab quality scales, I still dig my beam scales (supplied in accurized form by Allen too) out, especially for ball type powders that IME don't suit the RCBS or other power-dispensers.

Thank you for the support guys, it's much appreciated. I'm never happier than when I'm in my workshop working on a new project - As I'm well retired I make stuff more as a hobby to keep me amused than as any sort of business, every thing I do is hand made.
I'm currently making a few presses for muzzle loading revolvers and have just completed a set turning targets for a local precision pistol club.
Targetmasters have gone out to Shane, Soda Springs and Bert in Australia today and on Monday TM's are going to Norway and Austria.

Hi SPJ - thanks for the interest in the Targetmaster. Although the original "stand alone" sensor worked very well with the 10/10 and M5 style scales, it could at times inconvenient in that positions.
A couple of years ago I developed dedicated sensors for these scales that are more more compact and easy to use. These new sensors are interchangeable with any other Targetmaster sensor.

Exactly what Allen (1066) said.

I have that set up on my 10-10. I throw a light charge and trickle up. If you press the trickle button when then pointer is swinging down it works fast and perfect with the magnetic dampener.

I initially did not like the wheel on the 10-10. It was a pain to measure things of unknown weight. For doing production on numerous charges of the same weight it is fabulous.

I double check the 1st charge on a Scott Parker tuned Redding #1. Then I tweak my thrower to get closer so the trickler is doing less.

I was apprehensive doing business across an ocean. Not because of concern with Allen ( he is phenomenal), but because I have never dealt with customs etc. It was painless and Allen does that stuff and knows what he's doing.

As long as there is gravity, light, and a few batteries available, this system will work pretty dang well.

Are these still available?
Thank you for all the kind words and support for the Targetmaster tricklers, it's really appreciated.

Unfortunately life has recently thrown me a bit of a curved ball and I've been unable to make any Targetmasters for the last few months, and to be honest, have probably made my last one.

I developed the Targetmaster for my own use, way back in 1985. At the time I was shooting a lot of UIT (Olympic style) precision pistol. I was using a .32 Semi-auto Walther GSP in .32 S&WL and I found the charges of 1.5gns of Bullseye just not consistent enough when using a measure, so needed to weigh every one. As you can imagine, reloading a good quantity every week was really time consuming, so I cobbled together a crude contraption that developed into the Targetmaster. I was soon asked to make another couple for members of the squad I was training with, and so it began.
I only ever made them as a part time sideline/hobby in the shed at the bottom of my garden, and from there I have sent them to 33 different countries and never paid for any advertising.

I hope your situation gets better sir.

I have one of these I don't need anymore if anyone is interested.
Is it stll available? Which model is it? Is it the vibro trickler or is it the Targetmaster (with the light beam, made for beam scales)? I'm looking for one to use with an A&D FX-120I.
Thanks.
