Target Master trickler

I got one of these a week or two ago. This weekend I finally had the time to really work with it.

It is an excellent device. It is as accurate as your beam scales and pretty fast too. I was getting trickled, weighed charges every 30 seconds.

I went with this as opposed to an AutoTrickler for a few reasons. I am certain the Auto Trickler is a fine apparatus, but much more expensive and complicated than I want. The Target Master trickler uses gravity and light. Those are things that will not be outdated in my lifetime.

The maker of these, Allen, was a pleasure to work with and I believe he is a gentleman of the highest order.

I had never bought anything from overseas and wasn't sure if that was going to be problematic. It was not a thing. It sat in a customs warehouse in Chicago for a week, and then came right through.

I am very pleased with the product and transaction. I wholeheartedly recommend.

I went to his website targetmasteruk.com. I contacted him via email from his site. It was just shy of $200 dollars delivered.

I paid PayPal in British pounds. I thought that would be a pain, but it was not.

Somehow these have slipped by me, as of today the tricker is on my list.

A quick search should return some videos and pictures.
Here's one working with an RCBS M500 scale.

I must declare an interest - I designed and been making these since 1986.

Our biggest mistake was letting the colonies slip away in the first place. :)
Wearing red coats and standing in open fields, sure did'nt help !!

Good piece of Kit !! I would think about using one with my smaller
Peregrine digitals.

Yes, we were slow to learn, it was more than 100 years later when were were still making the same mistake in South Africa that we started catch on. :)

The Targetmaster is really designed as an auto-trickler for beam scales. Although it works very well without the sensor, just as a powered trickler, you might want to think about something like this for a digital scale:
