Target Dot VS MOA

Here is the set up. 1000 yard steel shooting Varmint silhouette. The place is known to be windy and I am almost 50/50 on what scope to put on my gun.
10-50X60 SIII LRTD - Like the target dot pulls the eye in and is nice for shooting bitty little groups and the 1/8th clicks are a HUGE plus.
10-50X60 SIII LRMOA - Like the MOA recticle because when running a bank of targets when wind changes it's easier to adjust for hold off in the scope and have a point of aim, but 1/4 clicks

I am a turret turner during our sighter period but once the round starts I don't adjust the scope I hold. It's much easier with a MOA or NPR1 or a hash mil type recticle to hold off of an animal than holding a dot off into the air (hard to tell if your holding 2 or 4 inches @1000 yards if it's not even on the animal). But I like the 1/8 adjustments. I have both scopes so which should I use???

If you're going to hold off anyway then use the one with the reference marks so you know how far you are holding and can repeat it.

Ditto ........

Thats why I really like the MOA I just wish it was 1/8 click and there would be no issue. I don't plan to hold off I usually dial but when the relay starts if the wind changes you almost have to hold off.
