Target camera

Looks like you are going to have to rely on YouTube videos. Now if you are also considering the Long Shot I can help.

I use the Shot Marker target system. It will transmit up to 2 miles. The batteries last for days. I use it for practice as well as load development. I've had one now for 3 years with absolutely no problems. I use it for practice and load development. $799.00 Setup takes minutes.

Shotmarker .looks great but I can't justify the price. Was wondering about the SME unit because it's on sale at Midway although I'd be choking even at $400. Don't shoot anywhere near as much as I used to.

I've got an SME the newest model. If you can put both the sending unit and receiving unit on a tripod it will work great. I wound up doing a Kindle fire for the viewing screen instead of my phone. Phone is too small for old eyes. SME has excellent service if you have trouble. I haven't had any problems doing a mile with it.

I would need to use a Galaxy Tab A (android). The reviews for the SME app were not too encouraging. They basically said the old version was good but the new was horrible.

The STS 1000 doesn't look encouraging either.
The Amazon reviews give it only 2.2 out of 5 but there were only 3 reviews.

I had the old model it was horrible. In fact they replaced it at no charge with newest model and it's great! Your android will work with it.

The SME Bullseye 1 mile version has problems when there are multiple cameras operating on the same range, like during a match! The cameras will connect to the wrong network so you may be seeing someone else’s target. It seems like it should be easy to fix but so far it has not been resolved at our club.
