target camera ?

I briefly seen a target camera where the camera stays on the shooting line and not down range by the target.
I cannot find it again. Does anyone know which one it is ?

The ones I know about have the camera at the target, and another unit at the firing line to communicate with the camera. Are you sure you weren’t seeing the base unit? If the camera is only at the firing line, then it would take a spotting-scope sized lense on that camera.

I have one. Works as advertised. Ive only used it around the house. Another impuse buy.
a lot of folks on this site bought one last year like in the same day. I paid more than that for sure

Not Sure about Target Cameras ?
I went with a ShotMarker $$$ .
It works Great. Made up a couple different Targets 600 yard F/Class style.
I have 540 in the Back 40 Range .
As long as you have a Target to shoot at ? You can set the I pad or Cell Phone you uses to any Target Picture in the System.
We also have them at most Ranges in the PNW used for Matches .

A friend of mine has the Longshot camera set up. We have used it and it works wonderfully, IMO.

The longshot hawk is just a remote display for your spotting scope. You still have to focus it while looking at your display and you still have mirage to deal with that you dont with target cameras

Just buy the camera. Great pics in HD.No more driving down looking at your target . cuts your range time down to 1/2.or more.

The range of a system like this would be limited due to mirage, sometimes the limit might be as high as 600 yards, this would be very good optics. Once the mirage rolls in all bets are off.

If you have a hard time seeing the bullet holes looking through a decent spotting scope a camera on the line will not be able to resolve the bullet holes.
