Target camera

Anybody have any experience with the bullseye ammocam long rang edition 1 mile system or the Target Vision camera . Either one better than the other, any real world experience?. Both are pretty close to the same price now. The target vision was alot higher at one time but they have come down on their price . I"m wanting to shoot out to 600 most times 1,000 sometimes but mostly 600
Thanks

I routinely use my TargetVision camera at 600 yds and am well pleased with it. I can see 6mm bullet holes in the black of an F class MR-1 target, but for shots on the lines, there is no substitute for eyes a foot away from the target to make the call. Pasters can sometimes make it difficult to confirm new shots at the same location.

The manufacturer recommends using a black aiming dot on white paper. There would be absolutely no problem seeing any and all shots in this case.

Looked at both. The ammo can thing was wrong for me in that I needed wedges to aim it and my wifi connection kept dropping. The Target Vision model had a strong wifi connection and the camera is aimable (?). I went with the Target Vision product.

I have the AmmoCam and it works well at 600yds. I replaced the 'easel' that the camera box is mounted on with a QD mount attached to the bottom of the box that connects to a small tripod. This makes it much easier to aim. Downside of this camera is the box presents a large profile to the wind and if shooting in very breezy conditions the camera will sway with the wind sometimes. If I had to do it again, I would have ponied up the extra bucks for the Target Vision system.

After checking both websites, only the AmmoCam system is available. Both of the TargetVision cameras are on a 2-week to 30 day delay but with free shipping for the delay (up to $30.00 value).

Regards.

I just got my TargetVision system this week. I have tested it locally but have not been to the range yet, that happens tomorrow. I chose the TargetVision system for the same reasons, the ability to aim the camera and getting the unit off the ground for better reception. I will say that I was very impressed by the build and packaging quality.

Hi all! Both cameras feature the same transmission abilities as they both you 802.11B WIFI, and the maximum 1W allowed power in the USA. Where we set ourselves apart is the software - we provide group measuring, skew removal, sight-in mode to calculate scope adjustments, grid overlay, session management, gaming mode for head-to-head gaming with live fire, and several other software features.

We update our software 3-4 times per year, where as other products haven't updated in over 2 years. You can see our different software features here:
http://www.bullseyecamera.com/software_tablet.html

Both products are great products. We were the first with the blinking shot and have had our system on the market for nearly 5 years now. We have a company staffed to answer phone calls and also off the $29.95 Bulletproof Warranty that covers anything that happens to the camera for 2 years, including getting hit by a bullet :)

I am sure you will be happy with either choice! Happy Shooting!
