target camera systems

I just did quick search on here and didn't come up with anything.

I am familiar with the bullseye system but was wondering what the cheap do it yourself alternatives are? I have heard there is a cell phone app whereby you can set cell phone 1 up to photograph the target, you then send a text from cell phone 2 which then allows cell phone 1 to take a photo and text it back to you. Does anyone know the name of the app?

Are there other cheap alternatives that can be used successfully out at say 600 yds?
