Target Area 600yd BR

Hi

We have started shooting 600yd BR again in Australia and on the new target there is a blue line that seperates the 'administrative' information away from the scoring rings.

If shots fall below that blue line are they still considered on target for group or are they treated as being off target?

I cannot see anything in the rules so just wanted to confirm.

Any information on this would be great.

Thanks Alan.

Alan,

The entire target is a scorable area, the blue line does not define its limits. This came up in discussion during a Long Range Committee conference call last year. The rulebook has no mention of shots below the blue line as being outside the scoring area. Every hole on the target counts, no matter where.

Edit: I am only talking about the IBS 600 yard BR target.
