Selling a 308 Win takeoff barrel, unknown manufacturer. I do not know what rifle this came off of, however it threads on very nicely to my Remington XP-100 receiver, so I suspect it's from that family of receivers. The details I have on it are as follows.
Approximately 24" including threads. Threads extend approx .865" including the area for the recoil lug. Approx 14 twist using a cleaning rod and tight patch, 6 groove. OD of the threads are 1.064", 16TPI. Measures 1.238" near the breech, tapering down to .790" at the muzzle. I do not know the proper name of the taper profile.
The bore looks very good. I've included a few screenshots of the bore and throat from a Teslong. I measured the approximate distance to the lands using a Sierra 155gr Palma bullet and found them to be 2.250" using the Hornady Comparator as an rough ogive reference, or 2.920" COAL. For reference, my new barrel with a Manson 2019 Palma Chamber measures 2.262" to the lands using the Hornady Comparator, so this barrel's throat, in my opinion only, is not worn out and likely has a good amount of life left. I do not know any other way of giving a good throat measurement without a throat gauge. The crown is undamaged. No CA Sales. Asking $100 shipped.
