He used his grandads Pre-64 30-06, a 1946 model,
that he has hunted with for 33 years.
It is a pristine example. Stock has been refurbished
and metal reblued.

Conditions were perfect. No wind and he knew
the exact range. 500 yards. Just the range he
wanted.
Danny said he held approximately 42 in. high.
the deer was facing him and the Nos. BT took
out both Jugular veins low in the neck, rode the
rib cage back, and exited behind the shoulder.
Danny has taken several at 400 yds but had
a goal of 500 yds.
