Tackdriver VI rifles

They may have a hard time finding an entry by the way Jim said that next year is filling up.
It’s probably going to take a dedicated 6PPC or 30BR Shooter to decide to build a rifle around another cartridge.
I spent a lot of time this past year working with a 6BRA 1-12 combination shooting 80 grain bullets. While it shot pretty good, I could not get it to shoot at the same level as my 6PPC on a consistent basis.

Everybody needs to take a good look at their targets and see just what went right and what went wrong. On my group targets, I was two bullets from being in the top 5 in Group. One was a four in about a .500 killed with one hanging out to make a 1.200. The other was a nice .450 with one landing out to make it a .1.008.
That is just me missing the condition. The Rifle was plenty capable.
I am sure there are many Shooters who could say exactly the same thing.

In the Score portion, I have at least 5 nines that were within .020 of cutting the ten ring. One of my Score targets where I missed two shots would have made about a .700 group if the targets were laid on each other.
On my 50 3X target, I saw a favorable condition and circled that target in about 30 seconds. My Rifle was plenty capable, it needed me to do my part.
So what I need to do is shoot better for all 50 record shots. The brutal truth is at my age, I am running out of time :) Hopefully I have a couple more in me to finally live up to the capability of the Combination sitting in the Bags.

NF comp thats not broken yet?
Mirage wasn’t as bad this year and we could have a spotting scope on the bench. With that said last year was horrible and I saw several new March Majesta’s, a 10x60 Schmit & Bender that Mike Elliott had that was impressive, and several March 10x60 34mm tube with “Super ED” glass. Eric Cortina had a New prototype Kahles that Speedy spoke highly of. Orangeburg is the best salesman of premium scopes in the country.

Thanks to all for posting up. I hope it's not out of line to ask if you could see your bullet holes through your rifle scope? Especially the 6mm's.
