Tack Driver IV drives Texas man to golf

Well not exactly. But just like most internet headlines, the facts were twisted.
The real story is:
A Texas man is driving to the Tack Driver and playing golf along the way.

I am headed out Saturday (10/28) morning to start my journey to the Tack Driver IV. I'm stopping in AR Saturday night and playing golf in AR Sunday morning.
Then off to MS Sunday night to stay there and play golf Monday morning.
Then off to ATL for the next 2 nights and of course playing there at least once.

I should arrive in Orangeburg Wednesday midday after stopping at Ronnie Long's shop to pick up some "next year project" stuff. Then it will be GO TIME for the next 4 days. (let me know if you have something you need me to pick up and deliver to the Tack Driver IV)

At that point Monday I will be playing golf in Orangeburg SC at Calhoun Hills golf complex Monday morning at 8:30 before headed back home while playing golf all the way back. Anyone else wanna play Mon morning?

I understand there are still a few open spots. Don't miss this EPIC event! Contact @jcline and get added to the list.

Well, we have seen the possibly best looking Rifle to be in attendance, here just might be the butt ugliest.

I won’t mention the history of this stock, I had a Bat M in it at one time. The butt stock was always too limber.

I epoxied a 1/16 wall x 3/4 diameter steel tube inside the length of the butt stock. I then coated it in 1/8 inch thick of 5500 psi EA 9460 Loc Tite epoxy.

I did some body work on it last week, got some body filler on it. I shot it last week end with a new 13.85/13.75 gain twist Bartien, and it shot pretty darned good. IMG_2412.jpegIt tracked really well.

The action is a Bat Neuvo Drop Port. Bix & Andy trigger.

I have to finish the body work, and get it in primer next.

I don’t think it will be this ugly at The TackDriver, but it sure ain’t gonna win best in show.

Jackie,
Nice looking Chevelle! Had a 67 375/396 until someone else decided they wanted it more.

Hope everyone has a great time at this years TackDriver! Is there a number 5 in the future? This seems to be the match everyone looks forward to the most.

Problem is.... we have gotten 10+ inches of rain the last 3 days.

I got up and walked outside a minute ago and the RV is sitting in standing water and its still raining. I may not be able to get out of my driveway until noon.
