T2K Parts Source

Does anyone know where I can purchase the following items for my Tubb T2K.
Firing pin
Firing pin spring
Extractor
Extractor spring

I checked on both Tubbs n McMillian website n they don’t seem to support this platform anymore.

just looking for some spares.

Firing pin ain't gonna happen. Spring is a good possibility. I will measure one and see what I can find. Extractor is the 223 size Sako. Try BAT Machine or ptg.

Thanks Walt,
The spring is probably the part that u would replace before anything else. Let me know what u find.

I would call Tubb before I gave up on them, just because its not on the site doesn't mean they don't have parts. He just doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would not take care of his customers.

Except its a rifle from 20 years ago, made by a company that continued to produce it after Tubb and McMillan parted ways. Any parts he had were bought out long ago by the same issue the OP is having

Firing pins and springs are not available. My rifles are still working fine with the original springs and pins after thousands of rounds.

I don't think David is a stocking any T2K parts. Might be worth a shot but I don't think that he is.

I have no knowledge of any of that kind of fancy stuff. I don't see how I could justify selling someone a rifle of that quality and not have parts for it. If I bought one I would surely expect it to last a lifetime.

These aren't grand dads old hunting rifles that see a couple of shots a year then get stored in the house until next season. These are target rifles, usually used often (cuz most people can't afford $4k just to have it sit), and parts rarely break. People are trying to find parts in case it does break since it hasn't been readily produced in almost 20 years.

He did have parts, 20 years ago when he and Mcmillan were still partners on the project

I don't own a Tubb 2K. Unfortunately, there are too many actions and guns that have been "orphaned". We all have them. When they outlive their usefulness, or break, they become wall hangers. I'm not happy about it.
