SWN when you loading your ammo?

What I’ll be curious about is how guys ammo/ tunes hold up going from northern states to the dry climate of phoenix.
Some fellas have tuners of course but there’s a limit of adjustment, just how competitive preloaded will be against those whom are taking components to tune or load down there should be an interesting topic to follow.
Maybe some kind souls will report back as to their experiences.
It holds up. It has been tested to hold up within a .005" seating depth range and .7g powder charge window at 20 degrees. The tuner changes the shape of the group back to round. The shape can change a bit when traveling. It shot small groups before changing the tuner. The tuner fixes small variations from the best spot to shoot for that day. All that and I still won't know until the last target at SWN how that tune worked.

Really nice day here today around 31 degrees. So headed to the range to verify my load and all is good. Cleaning my rifle and get it all packed up.

Thanks for the information. .005 seems the window a tuner could handle or a hybrid bullet could handle while 7/10 gr seems quite a bit though, that’s about 28-30 kernels of H 4350 , which direction would you have to adjust~ Up or down ?

Just finished loading the last of the 400 I am bringing. Sorted on the Bullet Genie a couple of days ago. Load has been shooting well the past year and past few practices last month.

I think I understand what you are asking. Before using a tuner, I would find a window, or node, of powder and seating depth, that was wide enough to hold up during changes in weather and latitude. I look for the bullet to impact the same target location over a wide powder charge amount. I then look for a seating depth that makes small round groups that holds up over several different consecutive seating depths. Now with a tuner I then adjust it to a small round group with any changes in weather and latitude. At SWN I moved it out. This works for me. There are a lot of ways to find the sweet spot. The best place to start is with a known load.
