Swivel Shooting platform

I’ve been hunting coyote at night lately and the place I hunt is about 120 yards deep ( away) and about 45 wide. I’m constantly scanning looking and with a bipod I have to move my head left and right constantly. Did some thinking and came up with this. The rear is a 5/16" bolt ground to a point. The front is two used swivel casters I harvested off a clothes stand. I haven’t hunted with it yet but in shop tests, it seem very promising.

Stacy, thanks for that information. I looked at those very closely. While they have some good features, the muzzle and butt of the gun travel about the same rotational distance. I’m hunting in a ground blind with a “bench” so for me that keeps my body ( head moving). With my rear swivel the butt pivots and only the muzzle moves left and right/ Much more user friendly and keeps me “still.” Thank you sir.

My solution years ago was to make my own shooting stix. No pics. I used 3/8 stainless tubing, cut one end sharp, drilled and installed a screw and nut washers etc. Added heat shrink to the top. Works great. Height is adjsutable, and you can leave it in place and swivel your rifle any where you want.

buddy of mine uses a blue plastic coke crate to pan back and forth on top of his prairie dog table. very steady and glides across smoothly---he is a dumb okie too...lol

I UNDERSTAND

Used a home made slider like that on my first bench, but then just bought a full swivel bench set up, so I can actually swing a full circle if necessary.

What's your optic above?
I used what I made and it worked just fine.. I saw 6 raccoons .. No coyotes. They musta got a group text...
