Switching between 6.5X55 and .260 Rem

I have an opportunity to join a group buy of Tikka T3's and want to get either a 6.5X55 or a .260 Rem. This rifle will be the basis for a future build and since Tikka uses the same actions for all calibers (short & long) I should have a lot of flexibility in cartridge choice when build time rolls around.

My question is; will buying the larger rim 6.5X55 now mean I would need a new bolt for future .308 based caliber builds?

I have had two actions - one Barnard and one Mauser 96 - that accepted both the 6.5x55 rim and .308 family rims with no issues what so ever. The difference is only .007" total (or .0035" on each side).
