Switch barrel setups and action wear

Gentlemen I am wondering what are the potential detriments of having a switch barrel Setup. I currently have a Kelblys black bear with a 22 dasher and 6 GT barrels I can switch but I am contemplating building another rig to separate the barrels.

what are the potential implications if I where to keep swapping both barrels on the same action throughout the life of the action?

With the proper action wrench and proper lube used on the threads and barrel shoulder, you will never wear out the action. Assuming the barrels are threaded properly.

As a Benchrest Shooter, I change barrels on a regular basis.

I often take several to the range and change them out as the day progresses.

As Wayne said, if you are careful and pay attention to the details, there is no detriment to swapping barrels on a regular basis.

If you do it correctly, the next owner of said rifle will be changing barrels when we are dust, blowing in the wind!!
