It's a 4-lug, at least the one that I had was. Been so long that I want to say it was very much like the Rem 700, just far harder because it had like a 50# spring on the firing pin.
This much I can tell you. It had a firing pin sound like no other rifle. When that thing dry-fired, you could hear it 50 feet away
It didn't go "click", it went "DOINK".
