Swedish mauser by Gustaf?

The arms of Kalmar includes two red sexuddig stjärna (six-pointed stars) on a white background. It might have been associated with Kalmar in some way. The crown appears to be the royal crown used in Swedish heraldry.
Perhaps an army unit from around Kalmar?

I was too young to buy during "the good old days" of the early '60s but I do recall in the '70s M1911A1s and M1 Carbines selling for $50 each and my not having $50. The last deals I got were on a "butchered" '03A3 and a 1917 which had to be restored. I still have the 1917 and wish I hadn't traded the '03A3.
Have you owned a Swiss K31?

Another old gem. I stumbled across one in the racks of my favorite "old gun store". I did some research, then went back and bought it. Glad I did. I bought 2 more when I saw them, and pounce on GP-11 whenever I see it. Do we really want to let this out? Old guns that are so much higher in quality than the new ones, that shoot so well for $4-500? Let me get a few more before we do, please!

No I have not. If you have, what sort of groups have you gotten with issue sights?

I had to buy a scope mount for my K31 before I could shoot it for groups. My eyes are old and the target is a white blur over the sights. I fired a few rounds and actually hit paper, my first time out. It was "function testing" only. When I mounted a 12 power Leuopold, I shot some 5 shot groups into 3/4 with the GP-11, at 100 yards. The largest were 3", but also the first groups I fired. The offset scope and the trigger took some getting used to.
I can't shoot worth a darn with leaf sights but do better with the K31 than the Swede mostly because the Swede's front sight puts rounds about 16" low at 100 yds.
Swedish mausers are notorious for shooting high (not low as I posted above). Sarco even sells an elevated front sight designed to bring the point-of-impact down to something reasonable at 100 yards.

I bought not one but two M96 Carl Gustaf Swedish Mausers circa 1909 in 6.5x55 back in the mid 90's. Were actually my first HP/CF rifles and bought both purely as an impulse buy because they were W/tax $89 each and get this came with 100 rounds EACH of Norma factory ammo. Guy I bought them from was desperately trying to get rid of a dozen or so he bought and threw in the ammo if I would buy two. Although not all the numbers match, they are very nice rifles, excellent if you consider the price.

Confirm all matching numbers, and yes, about everything on the gun will have at least 2 digits of the serial number on it. If all matching, worth the $450. I have a handful of Swedes. I really like them. My favorite is an original M96. Second fav is an M96 sporterized for hunting. Both shoot better than I can. Third is my M38 with target sights. Talk about a sweet shooter. Gotta have at least one Swede.......
Re the stock disc. Early disks had two screws situated as per the photo, rarely four. These disks held service branch (army and air force) and then within that individual region / unit markings. None though are anything like that pictured. I suspect this was a non-military issue disk either pertaining to an individual owner, or maybe to a rifle club or hunting association. The roughing out isn't a great fit whereas the military ones usually are.
Later on, these unit discs were replaced by one held with a single central screw that how armourer's barrel condition assessment markings and information relating to the sights.
