Swedish Mauser ammo HELP! for shooting tommorow!

i was going shooting tomorrow(Saturday). I picked up some PPU 6.5X55, to shoot in my newly acquired Swedish Mausers. An m96 and an m38. I was just doing some reading/research, and wikipedia had a nice long article on the guns and ammo. Then they mention that several ammo manufacturers make the ammo, BUT!!! It should not be used in "old Swedish mausers" Any body know about this? Help would be GREATLY appreciated

6.5 Swedish standard pressures are set with the older Mausers in mind. Factory ammo will be fine. The M96 should be a better rifle to shoot.

The PPU will be fine, the soft point has better accuracy than the 139gr hpbt. I like the 120gr match load myself.

Thanks guys. I have the ammo in the range bag, rifles cleaned up and ready to go, and two friends meeting me at the range with their old classics , for an "Old gun shoot". Then I read that Wikipedia article and got a little worried. Figured it was best to ask the question. Thanksagain, Josh
