I can tell you what that 100 gr Sierra HP will do to a groundhog. It looks like you have shot a balloon filled with blood. RED MIST. Out of my sported M 96 Mauser I pushed it to 3100 fps with Varget. COAL was 2.850 with the 100 gr but I have found that with all bullets 120 gr to 140 gr a COAL of 3.050 is as long as can be loaded and work properly through the magazine and I get great accuracy.
