So far, all the barrels I have will go into both my BAT actions. I use my headspace go gauges and they close with no bolt resistance with the firing pin assembly out. Then, I put a piece of scotch tape behind the gauge and the bolt will not close.
I also have fired rounds from both actions using the same barrel and both will measure within 0.0005" tenths of each other for the shoulder to base measurement, assuming the smith chambered them the same way.
Having said that, would it be safe to say that if I wanted to send out my action to get chambered, that I could just send one action and all my barrels and they all can be chambered to that one action and I should be good to swap the barrels to my other action?
