so the 308 brass i have been using i have to use a lyman pocket reaming tool to get rid of the "crimp" or swage or whatever it is called. it works fine but it leaves the slightest hint of a raised lip around the primer pocket and messes up my measurements when checking headspace and coal.
has anyone else encountered this and is there an easy fix. i was thinking of using the widest angle neck deburrer(i have a narrow one for vld bullets) and seeing it is cut it off but i need something with a pretty wide angle cause the lip is way back on the radius. actually that probly won't work as the deburrer will bottom out on the pocket
thanks for any suggestions from anyone who has run into this problem
