I use Fed205M in my Lapua 22-250 brass and Varget. Have also tried Fed205 Magnum, but groups opened up.

When I ran out of Tula 5.56 primers I switched to Unis Ginex with equally good results.

Linko. BR2's are a large rifle match primer, I take it you must mean a BR4.

I just got some Peterson SP brass to try myself and planned on using CCI 450. After reading this I think I'll try a BR primer also.

Just a heads up and maybe something to try. I tried a comparison test, against my best 140gr Berber Hybrid load in 6.5 Creedmoor, that uses 205m's and S&B SR primers. The results were that the S&B primers won by a slight margin. Not by much but still by a little in both groups down range and S/D's on the chronograph. May be worth a try for you if you're able to find them local. Also if you do try them be aware that they seat a tiny bit tighter than the 205m's. Good Luck

The one that works best with a specific powder lot. That could be any of the above-mentioned primers.

Some people work up a good load with primer A, then test primer B,C, etc. with that same load. In my opinion, that isn't optimal. I think it is better to do a separate load work up for each different primer. Primer A may shoot best with 43.5 gr Varget. Primer B might shoot best with 43.7 gr Varget. Primer C might shoot best with 43.8 gr Varget.

I did see something interesting when working up a .260 Rem load with H4350. I was running concurrent load test with H4350 and Fed primers versus CCI primers. One primer had consitently lower ES on the bottom part of the powder progression and the other had consistently lower ES on the top part of the powder progression. I repeated the test with the same results.
