Surprised by the Vector Optics Tauron LPVO – Full Review + Discount Code

Hey everyone,

I just dropped a new video where I did an open box review and range test on the Vector Optics Tauron 1-6x24 SFP LPVO, and honestly… I went into it thinking, “Okay, probably just another cheap Chinese optic.” But I was pleasantly surprised by both the build quality and the performance on the range.

For a budget-friendly optic, it checked way more boxes than I expected — clear glass, solid construction, good turret feel — and the fact that Vector Optics offers a lifetime warranty that’s transferable is a big deal in my book.

They also hooked me up with a 10% off discount code for anything on their website, so if you’ve been curious about them or want to try one out, this might be a good excuse:

Code: HobbyG10

Here’s the full review video if you want to see it in action

I really appreciate all of you here in the community — your feedback and conversations always help me find and share cool gear. I’ll keep bringing you more interesting finds in the future.

Stay safe and shoot straight!

Not sure why people are surprised by quality Chinese manufacturing these days. The hate towards Chinese products is purely political echo chamber at this point. I'm glad the optic worked for you, I am a fan of Vector in general and have been wanting to get their Continental 2-12 since it came out.

I agree with you 100%. I’ve been testing a lot of new products lately and most of them are manufactured in China—and honestly, many of them hold up really well against U.S.-made gear. Of course, there are always a few things you can tell wouldn’t survive a pity drop but there are also some manufacturers putting out top-tier quality that really deserves credit. Vector is definitely one of those brands that impressed me.
