Surgeon Actions-quality of action - fit and finish

All you owners of Surgeon actions. Can you tell me the pro's
and cons of the actions. Would you buy another one? Looks very nice from the pictures, but I have never seen one. I think
the integral rail is a great idea. Any comments would be appreciated. The model I am considering is #1086 LA repeater.
Thank you for any input.

Don't own one yet, but have inspected, handled and shot a bunch of Surgeon actioned rifles. First class product, first class company.

Might have one of their actions on order though ;D

I have a tac rig built with a Surgeon 591. It is a great action that is very stiff and robust. The one piece bolt and integral rail are a nice touch. It's not quite as smooth as my Borden Alpine but it is a great action for the money. I would buy one again in a heartbeat.
