re:moderators on rifles/pistols in u.s.a/canada.does the law cover the whole of the u.s or is it state law that permits/denies the use of moderators?.
over here u.k we apply to our local area firearms office run by the police,to request the use of moderators on specific rifles/calibre even 22rf as these are classed in the uk as a [dont laugh] fire arm/componant and as such we need to give as with our firearms reason to own one.since legislation changed re; good reason for a sound moderator we can now request that they are for preventative hearing damage for the shooter and to minimise disturbance to the local population if shooting near houses.
if you wanted them for your rifles do you have the same scenario could/do the N.R.A. lobby on this point?.
