SuperTrickler

Anyone here gotten a SuperTrickler yet?

I have to admit I was one of the first ones to dismiss it and name it Mr Coffee. But some of the videos are impressive as far as speed, which is what I’m looking for.

I’ve got one on order. Curious if anyone here has one.

F Class John has a couple and he participates a lot on this site. Maybe you already saw his YouTube videos?

Couple buddies have gotten theirs. They were having a lot of problems initially. It might throw in 6 seconds and the next time was 6 minutes. The V2 firmware update seems to have fixed their issues and they are tickled now.

From following them on Facebook it could be a good thing that I won’t get mine until 1st quarter of 2022. Give them time to work out the bugs.

Thanks Jason

Personally after seeing the issues like any new item I’d wait for the 2nd version…… this way I’m not stuck with a unit no one wants if I decided to sell it.
Yeah, hopefully when mine rolls around to be shipped in 3 or 4 months it will smooth out.

They "say" now anyway that there won't be any changes other than firmware/software updates to be made to the unit. I followed all of it from the start and it seemed well thought out. If I remember correctly they left room for expansion with extra ports and whatever those fancy words are. They seem really committed to being people pleasers. I'm still on the fence about ordering one, I'm pretty happy with my V3/Satorious/Ingenuity set up right now but the competition is pressuring me to make my loading room portable....

One of my best friends got one a few months ago and loves it. He shoots a lot and no problems with it yet. He keeps trying to get me to buy one but I’m fine with Adam’s old second version I’ve had a few years..

I might wait untill the Super Duper Trickler comes out.

Of course, when I finally get it, someone will come out with the “Super Duper “Creedmore“ Trickler”, a marketing ploy that will surely make everything else obsolete. :)

This is turning into an arms race.

In the mean time, I have talked to several Short Range Shooters who are saying they are going back to their stanard old Powder Thrower.

FWIW I have to say the commitment to innovation is 110% and while they could've released the unit as they did and waited 6 months before offering new firmware they've already had multiple updates. Some people would say this indicates the software wasn't ready to begin with, and maybe that's true at least with the AI a little but the latest firmware is lightyears ahead of the first release just a few months ago and they don't rest. The new AI is freaking amazing. Here's some videos that may help your decision process. If you're a bare bones kind of guy, it may not be for you BUT their whole vision is to create a complete system that's more than just a powder dropper. For some the AT V3/IPtrickler is a better choice and for other it'll be the ST. No bad choices and we as reloaders ultimately are the winners.

Go ahead and get one Jackie! With all the money you’ve saved over the years not updating your loading press's you deserve it.

One thing that Jackie will never be accused of is jumping on the next shinny reloading gadget or bobble. Or giving up on equipment that’s showing a little wear.
