superformance isnt great performance

just picked up a few pounds of superformance powder. used it with our .22-250 in a 50g vmax and .243 in a 58g vmax. tried every load under the sun, even switched primers, cant get a better grouping then .565 at 50 yards. is the that temp sensitive. cuz here in minnesota, its gone from -20 to 40 degrees in the last week.

Superformance Powder is in the same burn rate range as H4831 and is closing in on RL-22... In the cartridges you are using it in with the BULLETS WEIGHTS you are using>>>it is far too slow to get any real "performance" much less SUPERPERFORMANCE..... You should be using Varget, H4895 and or RL-15 in the 22-250 with 50+gr bullets and you would do yourself a favor by using something on the order of IMR 4007SSC in the .243 with 50+gr bullets... You are out of your burn rate for anything in those bullet weight ranges...

Ditto on the powder choice... A sleeper of a powder in a 243 with light bullets is also H380 , flows very nice through measures as well if your'e doing a large batch for varminting.

Look at a Load Data center, such as Hodgdon's, and see what they are using it in and for what projectiles... That will give you a very good idea..
