Suhl 150 value

MrCanyon

Today, I was offered a Suhl 150 22lr with a weaver t36 scope, with a after market barrel maker unknown, which I am interested in buying. Would like to get some info on its value of the Suhl 150. Would like to get a idea on what would be a fair price to pay for it. Looks to be in good condition, Thanks mr canyon

Is there a fodder recommendation? Will you be allowed to shoot it? Scope, bases or?
Not being able to shoot it puts the ??? bbl in the Wildcard, Roll the Dice on accuracy, life left category. Hard to set a price w that many unknowns.

Back in the beginning of rimfire benchrest these were very popular to build off. I believe it was mostly due to their excellent triggers & better than average barrels. I think most did receive custom barrels though.
As far as a value goes I'm gonna say somewhere between $900-$1200 due to they're not as desirable with the new custom actioned rigs out there.
Unless the previous owner was ham fisted cleaning the rifle & had damaged the bore I'd expect it to shoot extremely well, & possibly competitive still with anything out there.
Do you know who was the gunsmith? That may add a tad more.

$ 900 would be a good buy if the scope and tuner is included.

You can get a used T36 for $ 300 ??

22lr Tuner $ 150 new ???

$ 450 for the rifle = $ 900 ???

Where can I buy a Suhl 150 for $450? They were cheap in the US when they were first imported but I have not seen one close to $450 since. I have had a few of them and would agree with Keith on the $900-$1200 when set up as a benchrest rifle. If the stock inletting,bedding and finish are very well done it should be on the higher side.Is the action threaded or is it pinned?
