I got the Athlon mounted today haven't shot with it yet. Just looking through it, it seems pretty clear to my old eyes. Between old age, Diabetes, and Glaucoma I'm lucky I shoot as good as I do lol! I would have gotten that Mueller 8x32x44 if it was listed sooner. With the Vortex Hunter medium rings, I've got an 1/8 to 3/16" gap between scope and barrel. I tried their high version and they were way too high. I'll report back after shooting.
