Sub 1/2 MOA .284 Shehane

Has anyone got a .284 Shehane to Agg .5 MOA or less at 600 and 1,000 yards.

If so, how?

Terry, I do not shoot BR.. However, I have shot several groups in the 4 and 4.5 inch range for 5 shots (1000 yards). I also shot a 9 shot group that measured a tad over 7 inches with 8 of the 9 in 4.5 inches. I believe that 1K neck tension accounts for much of the accuracy at 1000 yards. I was using 2K at first and could not get rid of vertical. I tried everything.. The last variable was neck tension>>> as soon as I went to 1K all the vertical went away..

I never did, so I gave up on it. When I get around to it, there will be at least a bbl, maybe with action, and a set of dies and some brass up for sale. >:(

I don't know what the agg was, but Henry Pasquet won the 2013 IBS Nationals with a 284 Shehane:

I assume that it must have been less than 1/2 MOA to win, but like I said, I don't know for sure.

I had a 4.782 three target agg at the nationals for light gun. The 284 S is almost as accurate as the dasher but is more wind resistant. It will shoot sub 1/2 minute.

What would yall say has a better agg`ing ability between the .284/.284 Shehane and .300 WSM?

Just wondering because .300 WSM seems to largely dominate at Williamsport, apart from the Dashers.
